The St. Brigid's Flower Cross pendant is named for Saint Brigid (Mary of the Gael) born in the mid-5th century. The legend goes that before her father's death Brigid sat by him in prayer, whiling away the time by weaving the first Saint Brigid's cross from the rushes strewn about the floor. This cross combines the traditional shape of the reed cross with another lesser known, but no-less-beautiful, symbol of St. Brigid: the St. Brigid's Flower. This cross is available in two sizes and available with a 14K Rose Gold Flower or a Sterling Silver Flower.
